Born in Beirut, schooled in Paris, lived and worked in London, Cyprus, Bahrain, Dubai and of course Beirut. Writer, director, adman, former aspiring comedian, occasional cartoonist.

Wrote and directed 3 short films: ‘Bloody Mary Afternoon’, ‘Beau Rivage’ and ‘Ecce Hommos’ (Cannes Film Festival 2010), and a short conceptual comedy: 'Left Foot Right Foot'.

Published several books: ‘Flemme’ (Editions Tamyras), ‘Chroniques de Beyrouth et d’ailleurs’, ‘Non Chérie’, ‘Cartoons’ and ‘Quelque part à Beyrouth’ (Editions Noir et Blanc).

Worked in advertising for over 25 years, first as a writer then as a creative director. Agencies include: Impact BBDO, FP7 McCann, TMI JWT and M&C Saatchi. Clients include: Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Fromageries Bel and Johnson & Johnson.

Created and developed various social media awareness campaigns against domestic violence, racism and corruption in Lebanon, and about the dangers of the lebanese waste crisis on public health.

Directed many commercials as part of Tony Kaye’s roadster of directors in London, then as an independent director between London and Beirut. Commercials include brands like Pepsi, Head & Shoulders, Pampers, Samsung, MBC and Al Arabiya.

Other past work include: writer and cartoonist at Chtok (a children monthly magazine), columnist at Santé Beauté (a L’Orient-Le Jour publication) and political cartoonist at Libnanews.com

Started blogging by curiosity and continued by passion. The blog has been visited over two million times from different places around the world: France, the UK and other European countries, the US and Canada, North Africa and the Gulf, Russia and of course Lebanon.
